We have loved eating here over last 20 years. Following a recent refurb & closure, we returned for the renowned Steak Night meal.
Priced at £45 for 2. We... read more were told on arrival their website is not current & to use FB for bookings.
Two plates came with a rib eye on each (thin, grizzle, no steak searing), cheap frozen skinny fries, HALf a mushroom (why?) and a small squashed cooked tomato. Partner had veg option with their undercooked steak and was given a small helping of wet, soggy, tasteless (tinned?) tiny cubed 'vegetables'. More water than taste after a small try.
Food was left, the lovely waitress politely offered to return the meat for more cooking. But, the whole dish was cheap ingredients and saturated, so we left.
The steak meals had no resemblance to anything a qualified chef would serve.
The menu options on the website do not exist, be forewarned.
